Do you guys think that this is a promising innovation or another waste of our time and precious money?

I am very interested to see how the FDA trials go.

BUT is there any proven benefit from laser treatment you can currently get at hair loss clinics?

I assume you saw or know about the Dateline piece on the Follice Five and the results of that test. The HairMax Lasercomb (tm) appears to have helped the fellow who used it. There will be a follow up show, probably in about 5 months I think. We will see how it fairs. If it grows more hair or atleast as much hair as any of the other approaches then you will have the answer to your $645 question. Isn't that what you are really asking, is it worth $645.

Sorry guys,

I´ve been using the lasercomb for 14 months now and am feeling depressed and dissapointed now. Like with any product that comes to the market yearly, I didn´t trust it much in a beginning but decided to lease it (instead of buying and throwing my money away).

I had my hair cut very short the first day of treatment and had my stylist to take 4 pictures (front, sides, rear). I noticed an improvement in the quality of my hair and also a reduction in hair loss. It went all positive till month 6, when I had another set of pictures and realised that my hair looked much, much better. I thought it was the perfect solution against hair loss.

For month 7.5 it was a stabilization period (with no noticeable improvement), but since then it´s all the way down. Hair loss has increased, pictures reveal a deterioration of the remaining hair, I notice more hair on my hand and comb the next morning after hair treatment (probably burned hairs) and the very few, tiny baby hairs that I´ve noticed in my hair line grow very, very slow.

I´ve been posting my experience at their web site and of course, they found the last postings not positive. Someone (the president of the company, I think) called me to talk about my experience but mentioned nothing significant or something that I don´t know. He also mentioned that the lasercomb does not work for everyone and considering my crummy luck, I had to be part of the small percentage of persons who see no improvement.

Ok, if someone is interested in reading the whole, sad story you may go to http://www.hairmaxforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=926
and if you want to see my before/after pictures, then visit http://www.profi-photo.com/Cabello/

You could be going through a period of shedding. Although, you probably need to step up the old regimen. Minoxidil, propecia, cu peptides..................

Ok, taking a step back from things, here's how I see it. First, alonso100, great job in taking the pics of your progress. However, I've got concerns about you posting such a negative review of a product here on this board since you only have 3 posts to date. Secondly, I checked out your gallery and you're missing the other views of your pre and post pics. In all of your pics you show only frontal views with no side but with the exception of a back view at the bottom of the page that was taken before treatment. I guess that I have serious concerns about a new poster that says something seriously negative about a particular product. The inconsistencies that I mentioned leave me with an educated reticence.

I don't understand that logic...It's not like he's coming here and trying to sell something like LC employees have been nutoriuos for. I can't tell you how many LC commercials I've had to delete already.

He even said he saw results for the first 6 months. He didn't bash the LC at all. He gave what sounded like an honest testimony. The pics aren't consistant since the lighting is different, hair length is different so it's nearly impossible to see anything from those photos.

I see no reason to question someone's posts that are negative about a product or treatment just because he has few posts.

That being said, it's typical of hair loss sufferers to go through peaks and valleys with any treatment. The fact is that this user experienced the beginning of regrowth on the lasercomb. Now he's going through what appears to be a shed, but this is normal. The issue isn't how well he or any of us month to month. The issue is how well we do measured in six-month increments.

Mvpsoft, point well stated. My feeling is that this guy's going through a shed but time will tell.
