Hi,

Been on .25mg finasteride for about 1.5 yrs with great results however I would like it a bit thicker. Does the lasercomb work or is it a scam? Not too impressed with the before/after pics on their website but it might actually work. Advice?

I have seen people saying that it works..but I have my doubts..I would like to see a real good study of it before I belive it..

I belive laser can be good..I used it for sport injuries..but until I see a neutral study on LLL on hairloss I wouldt spend my money on..if I dont get real desperate

used it for a full year religiously with definitely no improvement. It does not work. The following year I used the overhead laser thing that hairtransplant dr.'s offer and my hair condition improved.

Kiel you mean the real laser with LLL or what they call it?
What kind of improvement did you get? Thicker hair or more hair?

At the laser center where I got some of my sports injuries fixed they got some laser that they say could help hair growth, but I always looked at it as to expensive and not so beneficial

I don't know what it is called. Its like this thing that you sit under for 30 mins 2 times a week. I didn't grow more hair... but in like 3 weeks time my hair FELT way thicker and shinier. It was alot more managable like after using a good conditioner.

I bought the HairMax Laser Comb too. I used it for around 3 months without missing a single session. Now im not one to make up stories or speak dishonestly about anything but i believe the comb contributed to the destroying of my hairline. Perhaps it was just coincidence, but id been maintaining beautifully for around 2 years on Finasteride before i started using the comb. I just wanted to try and increase some volume. I dont want to scare you off. But i think this product is useless and its very time consuming, clumsy and awkward to use. Its just very well marketed..Having said that, it has been cleared by the FDA so i dont think it will harm your hair. I actually sent mine back after around 3 months and got my money back. It could be worth a try if things are desperate, but if your hair is in reasonable shape, steer clear! If it aint broke dont fix it!

Good luck bro.

Kiel, anyone with a Norwood-3 hairline should not be allowed to give advice on the effectiveness of hairloss treatments. :)
