Yh the beard thing doesnt really make sense but the hairline theory has got me wondering as ita followed the same recession pattern. Which is weird as you can i had a full rounded hairline and then it followed the 1 year old hairline.I've seen that guy. The theory is false
He also says men who can grow a full beard in their teens lose their hair earlier. My old classmate had a full beard when he was 16, he has a perfectly straight hairline today. No signs he'll ever get bald.
Beard growth is absolutely related to testosterone and dht, but being able to grow a thick beard doesn't by any means equal to going bald. There are exceptions but I think being able to grow facial and body hair increases chance of balding, bald men almost always have thick beards. The same hormones that cause beard growth cause balding if you have the genes that is.
im so jealous. it's very lucky to have a full beard and hair.Beard growth is absolutely related to testosterone and dht, but being able to grow a thick beard doesn't by any means equal to going bald.
Some examples that come to the top of my head atm are Lionel Messi and Olivier Giroud.
"Dihydrotestosterone, or DHT, is an androgen hormone derived from testosterone. Years ago, and even to some extent still today, DHT was inappropriately considered a bad hormone that merely caused things such as male pattern baldness and prostate cancer. According to a study, prostate cancer may not even be caused by DHT. While it may be one cause of baldness in men prone to it, the hormone itself is responsible for a number of health benefits in men.Pretty sure beard growth is related to testosterone not DHT. Don't think hair loss and beard growth are correlated whatsoever. Reason people think this is because it seems like everyone going bald grows out a beard, if they can.
And this guy's theory is ridiculous. When I am 35 I will have no hair on my head, even while taking finasteride.
Lol where is this quote from? Sounds like it was pulled straight from propeciahelp.com. The fact that it says "The trade-off is, essentially, loss of manhood for head hair" shows that this article you pulled the quote from is complete trash."Dihydrotestosterone, or DHT, is an androgen hormone derived from testosterone. One of these responsibilities includes developing secondary sex characteristics like facial hair and the male reproductive system. This is especially important during puberty. For adults, DHT is the primary androgen for our beard growth and our prostate's wellness. In fact, using DHT blockers like finasteride has been shown to lower libido in men that are trying to combat baldness. The trade-off is, essentially, loss of manhood for head hair."

what about taking finasteride And v****?Medical literature supports and I personally know MDs that treat ED in male patients that did not have it before taking Propecia. Of course it does not occur in every one that takes it. And I don't think there is an accurate percentage. I've heard of only one documented case of what the Dr. called permanent ED but one must ask, if that is the case, at what point did they decide to give up on resolving it. Bottom line is, I guess, how much does your sex drive mean to you. Age 20-38 , I wouldn't have traded my fusion reactor drive for hair. But then I wasn't as bald as some I see in their twenties on here. They have a horrible decision to make and I feel for them.![]()

okay after seeing what ur hairline used to look like I have to give it to you straight. Yes you have male pattern baldness. You went from a perfect NW0 to what you are now which is a NW1. There are very evident cuts taken out of your hairline and although you still have a very enviable hairline, the reality is those cuts are happening because you have male pattern baldness.
You need to keep an eye on it and see how or if it progresses. Just realise, anyone who has a maturing hairline has male pattern baldness, it does not mean you are going to go bald though and that's why its a pain in the *** because you have to play the waiting game before committing to medication
