Hi,

I've been having hairfall throughout my head since a few months(3 months i guess) and only a slightly receded temple hair. My age is only 19 and neither my parents have baldness in their family.

Could it be male pattern baldness, should I take action? Can they grow back? Or could it be some other cause? To add I've noticed smoking hash increases my hairfall therefore I've quit smoking altogether since last week.

Would really appreciate some light on this problem. I went to a dermatologist but he got me sick by prescribing me 4 vitamin a day and a cocktail of possible treatments.

Hair loss at the temples rarely grows back if what you are experiencing is actually male pattern baldness. Few men are that lucky with treatment. Anyway, it doesn't matter if everyone in your family tree that's still alive has a full head of hair. All it takes is for one man to have been bald at some point in your lineage for you to get it, hence why it affects sooooo many men worldwide. How about you post some pictures, kid.

we cant give you a diagnosis without pics, and even then probably not if its super early stage hair loss. But its not super unusual to have no history of male pattern baldness of your family that you know of and still have it
