I've realized that my hairline has been receding, but I'm only 16 years old. Is there anything that i can do before it gets worse since I can't get medication.
Also what do you guys think the situation looks like right now?
Currently, i dont know my mom's grandparents, so i dont know what that side of my hair looks like since my mom has never met her dad.
However, from what i know, my dad's side of my family has no sign of hairloss except like a permanent norwood 2 hairline that doesn't change.

I really have difficulties in spotting why you should be thinning out. For me you probably aren't.
Is your scalp very oily? Can you get ketoconazole shampoos?

Hey thanks for replying.

Firstly, my apologies, the title might be misleading. I guess I'm just being paranoid about my slightly receding hairline at age 16 because my friend pointed out that my hair was receding a bit. I'm too young to be getting any of those hairloss prevention products, and my hair is not thinning at all yet. However, recently, as in the past few months, my hair has been shedding a lot more strands of hair in the shower than the past but that might just be a simple part of maturing into an adult hairline. Additionally, I've realized that my left side of the temple is receded further than my right side. Thus, I'm assuming that I am either in an early stage of hair recession, or I am developing a matured hairline in my teenage year? Which one would it be?

It would be cool to give you a straight answer. I can't. Only time will tell. Take pictures every six months and compare.
