hi, ive posted n here a few times, and keep an eye out in the succes stories, about 6 months ago i started proscar, and split it into 5, so taking 1mg a day.

ive noticed some hairs popping out on the hairline, so im happy with the results so far, i have not noticed any more hair dropping out. ive just noticed a small hair right in the center of my temple, which i know it sounds a bit sad, but it shows that if one hair manages to get out, then hopefully more will follow.

i dont have any pictures, but i know if things are progressing as i have a scar on my right temple where my hairline got to, i use this to "measure" how much im regrowing. lol.

anyway, i want to start something else as well as proscar, is there something for a receading hairline, that i can rub onto my temples?

thanks for any help.

Yeah Minoxidil is the core ingredient in Rogaine Foam and other similar hair growth stimulants. Your link seems bad but I bought a 3 month supply for like $80, or thereabouts.

Careful using it though. I'm guessing you're only a nw2 so either way it won't effect you much, but you'll need to stay on it for life, and it's not really intended for the hairline.

You can try spirolactone cream, they have a link for it on the home page, under "Learn and Take Action." It's probably the best there is for is, but I wouldn't expect much. Post some pics. The severity of your hairloss has a lot to do with your options.

you can buy a 3 month supply of rogaine at walmart for $45. you can apply a little blob of foam on your temples. the foam is a lot better than the other type of minoxidil because it dries very quick.

did you shed when you first started the finasteride?
