My hairline has been getting thinner and thinner since beginning of this year. I am 16 years old. I used to have such a thick her that when i went to go get a hair cut i would get it thinned! Now its just feels soo much thinner! When i style it my hair just clumps together at the middle. The top sides of my hair are MUCH MUCH thinner than before! I can see my scalp through them. I have not noticed any thinning at my crown. I did speak to a dermotaligist, she said that should would put me on Rogain when I'm 18. Don't get me wrong I still have a good hairline but my hair is getting thinner by the time i am 18, it could be alot worse. I know you can buy minoxidil without having a need of prescription. I just don't really know what to do! I did go through a really really stressfull situation for 3 months,jan-march. I'm not sure if it has anything to do with my hairloss tho! I am certainly taking Bitoin even tho it doesn't grow new hair. Propecia is not an option for me due to the fact I am too young for it. Hair loss runs on both side of my family! My cousin is suffering through hair loss and he is 18ish. I just need to know what to do!
