Ever since my hair line left I had slick skin with no visable sign of pores and was gradually becoming shiny. This worried me so I started propecia almost two years ago and stopped after a year because it made me feel like sh*t but anyway the good news is the hairline skin has micro vellus all over it and a few have grown long and a few have colored in but have not grown long (go figure) but one interesting thing has occured just recently is the return of noticable pores when I look in the bathroom mirro with the bright lights lighting up my scalp. When I wrinkle my forehead by raising my eyebrows the pores become very noticable. This is good news of course and perhaps signifies the return of a scalp that is prepared for hair growth.

more likely the minoxidil that did that....

I agree; after using minoxidil I find once slick skin now feels 'bumpy' and I can see lots of microvellous hairs poking out

They won't grow any bigger than microvelllous tho

Amazing how doctors can't even really figure out by which mechanism Minoxidil promotes hair growth, but Gilgamesh absolutely seems to have it nailed, no questions asked. Thank you.
