This isn't related directly to your thread question, but I noticed your regimen included daily Green Tea. Make sure the Green Tea you drink is DECAF. Topical Green Tea with caffeine has been shown to help remove DHT, and stimulate hair growth, but oral/dietary caffeine actually increases free testosterone levels, and also stimulates stress hormones, both of which will lead to more hair loss. Stay away from dietary sources of caffeine.

Guys, please stop quoting those giant pics.

Yes, you've receded a bit, I guess because of quitting the propecia.

hey king

those temples do look like they are slightly thinning

it's unfortunate you quit finasteride after 6 months
it usually takes at least a year to see results with it

MIN could help but as you know it does not combat the DHT suffocating you follicles

hows the vitiligo doing?

i know its hard to say but how much of a chance is there of me thickening the existing hair in the temples that thinned out now that im in on the big 3

and the vitiligo is still in the same spot it hasnt spread :D i gained pigment back in the spot but lost it again due to me stressing

If you don't mind sharing....how old are you? You could just be developing your "mature hairline"......the March 2009 photo shows a fairly straight hairline that you would typically see in teenagers or younger....I would try propecia for at LEAST a year and then keep taking pictures....

Did you have sides on finasteride? If not then quiting was a big mistake. Finasteride, if taken early enough, will allow you to maintain what you have for a very long time. It really isn't much of a growth promoter. I doubt your temples would have receded if you had stayed on finasteride.

I've only read positive things about drinking green tea every day - should I be avoiding coffee and green tea? Can you link me to any studies showing that caffeine consumption is bad for my hair? I drink green tea and coffee every day this would SERIOUSLY change that if I read they were harmful.
