fallout boy,
You need to calm down man. I understand your hairloss causes you much mental anguish, but i've been watching you post and re-ask the same questions in this forum over and over for weeks.
You keep asking people to tell you the exact thing to do, get some guiding responses, then doubt them and ask some more. No one can exactly tell you the course of action to take, you have to make your own choices based off of the inconveniences of each particular medication.
I know you haven't seen the results you wanted after 5 months on propecia, give it 1 year and don't post anything about it until then. All we will say is keep waiting. If, after 1 year, you see absolutely no improvement... not even maintenance... then maybe its not working for you. (i'd, however, take it anyway).
As far as minoxidil goes... it doesn't worsen your hairline, it can only help your head, the proof is in the numbers. If you don't like the idea of applying it twice a day.... then just use propecia and nizoral. It's honestly that simple.
If you can't wait the year then go ahead and buy some generic minoxidil. If your looking for reassurance that it works, let me give you some. I have been applying it to only my hairline for about 4 months or so. Yes, there was an initial worsening of the area, but I knew from research this was to be expected and stayed the course. I was rewarded with results, which, continue by the day to get better. Hair is growing in thicker and stronger in exactly the places I was losing it. New hairs are sprouting up everywhere on my hairline from the minoxidil. It isn't optimistic outlook, its observable results.
so quit worrying so much, be happy in the fact that your fighting your enemy with proven treatments, and f*** b****s.
