Hairlength and time spent on this site

When I first buzzed my hair I was going through a big shed and I really liked the way it looked. Now that my shed has stopped or slowed down I prefer it more grown out. Does anyone else notice that when your hair is short you analyze all the slight imperfections more? Right now my hair is at an akward length in between the two in the photos. I really spent less time checking this site when my hair was longer and I didn't notice all the slight imperfections. I know that the condition is essentially the same, but I'm more bothered by it when its short.

P.S. I have always had a widows peak which grows in uneven. I have been shaving it for 6 years now. Thats why it looks like the middle of my hairline is diffuse.

I dont think you can really tell my recession/thinning from the pictures. I have some pretty nasty ones from before I started treatments, but I cant figured how to upload from my phone. Does anyone else find that there own feelings about their hairs varying condition dictates how much they want to visit this site?
