Hello !

I'm a little surprised that there is not a thread about Hairclone !!

http://hairclone.me/

A guy from hairlosscure 2020 said ; "HairClone aims to begin follicle banking for patients in the UK in 1st half 2017 and transplanting cellular treatments in 2nd half 2017"

Sounds promising right?

Really? Didn't know they were legit.. But aren't they saying they plan on commercialising it very soon?

From where did you get these dates ? Where does it say that ?

1. You have the ability to read,

3. The website is on the first page of this topic,
4. This latter having 4 messages.
5. I agree, this is a huge number and too much work - I just want to save my hair you know lol.
6. You might have to cogitate a bit also, and I fully understand some people does not feel comfortable with this - Cogiwhat? Can I apply it on my hair?
7. Oh god there is a FAQ on the website! - Can I apply it too?
8. I'm so stupid, I could have started there. - No sh*t.
9. Firstly, HairClone will need to research the optimum ways to multiply follicle cells in culture while still maintaining their activity and also the best way to return these cells to the scalp. The speed at which we can do this scientific parts of the research will depend on the amount of financial support that we receive through our various initiatives (see funding section). The clinical aspects will depend on getting permissions from the various UK regulatory agencies and we are hoping that we can begin clinical experience on a small scale in the UK, in the second half of 2017.
We hope that we can begin clinical trials proper within 3-5 years.
- Ok but when is it available and how much will it cost?

LOL! If you think our questions are not worth responding then why did you wasted your time writing it?
Good username choice though! I have to admit it.

This forum is funny. Some people here act like they're so superior it's beyond ridiculous lol makes me laugh sometimes.
It's like you need to know everything and research everything the moment you start losing your hair. Otherwise you can't post here.

You don't need to do that if you don't want to but in his defense (and all honesty) you called this a scam before you even knew anything about it or researched it.

That's the type of false information that takes away from the usefulness of this forum.

Where did I call them a scam? Read my post again, I clearly said a lot of people think that but I still don't have an opinion because I didn't have time to read about the company. I just saw many people commenting on HairLossCure2020 they just want to attract investors. That doesn't mean this is my opinion.

This is one of the best posts I've ever read on here lmfao.

Anyhow, It'd be nice if they could bring it to the US with the new 21st century cure act to possibly bring it to market even faster... at this point it's not as much of a matter of if a treatment like this will come out, it's more of when.

This is definitely not a scam. The CEO is I believe the same guy that used to run Intercytex. However they are like 10 years away from releasing anything to the market.

"The good news is, companies around the world are racing to start hair cloning trials as soon as they can."
hopefully this won't be a 5 years endurance racing

The thing I don't like about Hairclone is that basically they are admitting that they don't actually have anything at the moment but they are happy to take your money and freeze some follicles and hopefully if they get something that works you will be treated. Thanks but I think I will pass.

that's a good way to make funds and keep trials alive. at least people who have too much money will be happy to to give them follicles and hope....
no excuse for not having necessary funds even though I duno how much does it cost : o butpretty sure that's not stellar funding.

Well that is good and all but generally if your venture cant attract capital that normally sets off warning lights.

The other aspect I have mentioned before is that they say they are able to get round regulatory approval by using the "specials" route that allows non approved drugs to be used. This may be fine for one offs but you certainly could not offer a treatment to thousands of people based on it. And if this is what they are going to do it points to them using other peoples IP, for example Tsuji.

Anyhow, we will see but to be honest I really don't want to be thinking about this for the next 5-10 years :)

I think that their method of generating funds is just fine, in fact I'd argue it's a brilliant idea

BUT, you need to show the public you can actually do this beforehand. Over on that ongoing Q&A with Paul Kemp, he's said that they haven't even decided on how exactly they will culture the cells and stuff.

Hopefully, they will get a trial up and running this year and that dude in the video (glad to see media coverage) will get hair back. If he does, this sh*t will explode.

On a related note, you just KNOW that dude is the laughing stock of 9/10 people who watched it. I hope he gets his hair back as karma for those people.
