Awesome. If I recall, she seemed a little inexperienced with the business side but her work is stellar. Glad we've got another player in the game.

By the Replicel gets here, it will be 2020. These new treatments seem really good.

But I'm not impressed with the timeline. And that's provided that it works, because lots of the cloning technologies
didn't pan out.

I'd have trust in this with Dr. Higgins name behind it.

The more treatments there are the better odds we have of finally getting new effective treatments to market - none of them are guaranteed to work. It's obvious the hair loss industry is gaining more popularity with all the new research teams throwing their hats into the ring.
It's not that I don't trust it.

You probably don't run into these issues, because you live in Canada. In the US, since they banned hair products from Europe (over five percent Minoxidil solutions), I can't get anything from Europe.

The only two places I can buy things from, in my experience, are the US and Canada (Xandrox solutions, no problem).

US Customs are so weird. Also, it seems nothing ever gets approved in the US. It's not on the forefront any longer (it used to be, decades ago).

Chances are if you want to address your hairloss you're going to have to go outside the US. The FDA is a dinosaur and not equipped with the right regulations to handle these new cell based therapies - unfortunately we're way behind.

Hopefully if/when we need "touch-ups" after our first initial treatments they'll be approved in the US by then.

I'd have trust in this with Dr. Higgins name behind it.

Agreed, she brings instant credibility.

I heard about this company a while back, but I had assumed everyone here already knew of them =/

Anyway, this is great; the future is looking bright for hair and regenerative treatments in general.

I read this article earlier today I thought for sure it was a scam, it read like one with the memberships and accepting money for things. but then at the end I saw Dr. Higgins name and I'm pretty much sold.

I may be wrong here but this sounds pretty similar to what replicel is doing, with the reguvination of existing follicles or am I mistaken?

Just saw this posted on FollicleThought.

Looks like Dr. Higgins is part of a new hair regeneration venture based in the UK:

http://www.folliclethought.com/hairclone/

https://www.facebook.com/HairClone-1065523490183454/

https://twitter.com/hairclone

The more the merrier....

And it looks like they're addressing the convenience of cryo-freezing follicles for future use right from the beginning.

Good find ! :) May I post this event, Higgins is a speaker :

It's looking bright for people who live near the treatments. Wish I was one of them. I'll probably end up going to Mexico, or something like that, unfortunately.

I don't live near them either. So I'm in the same boat (plane) on its way to Japan, Mexico or The Moon -- wherever I must go to save my hair.

So with you on that one! Right now I'm using anything and everything! Progesterone, anything I can get my hands on.

Histogel looked promising, but some of the pictures don't look that great.

And the thing with that is it has to be redone every two to five years. That's expensive! But maybe worth it?

Histogen seems cool, but it definitely looks like it will be too little, too late. If Shiseido/RepliCel pans out as planned, Histogen is finished.

There's just no way anyone looking to travel for the purpose of hairloss treatment is going to go to Mexico for a temporary solution if a permanent one exists elsewhere.

This is great news. UK is very rich and developed country with great education system, so I believe this company is not joke or scum.

Maybe @Admin can try to contact them in next few weeks and do interview?

I know that i sound little bit ’evil’, but I believe only in scientist/companies from Western/Central Europe, USA/Canada, Australia/New Zealand, Eastern Asia (Japan and South Korea mostly and maybe China/Taiwan/Singapure). Most Latin American countries are very corrupted and therapies that they offer are very suspicious and dangerous.

There's so much stuff in the pipeline now, it's nuts; Replicel, Tsuji, Histogen, Follica, Samumed, Pilofocus, CB-03-01, Setipiprant and now Dr. Higgins. Would be cool if we did one interview a month... we could essentially have a yearly update with all of them that way.

Still there are not more than 50 professional hairloss scientist in this world which is really big shame. And most of them are involved in hairloss research many years and even decades without any big results. We need new young fresh blood in hairloss industry.

Also cool find but why would we need to cryopreserve our follicles if we have a dht resistant safe zone that we could always extract from and produce new follicles/cultured cells from? I really feel tsuji is going to have it cracked with these primoridums and i think follica plus histogen will bridge most of us till that point
