Hi,

Just found this post on Follicle Thought:
http://www.folliclethought.com/hairclone-launches-crowdfunding-campaign/

The campaign is on a platform called Capital Cell and includes below video:
"HairClone is a startup biotechnology company focused on developing personalised treatments using a patient’s own cultured hair cells to reverse hair loss. Step one of this process which involves looking to create what aims to be the world's first follicle banking service, to be launched in 2019."

Campaign: https://capitalcell.co.uk/campaign/hairclone/

What does everybody think of this?
They state their tech would allow the regeneration of hair and that they'll also build a biobanking service so you can take follicle cells early on when they're still strong.
It sounds interesting and considering I could help them with just £100 (and even make a return on investment) I am keen to invest. Help them, help myself, help others with hairloss.

thanks for your input.

Right under the headline it says this:
"(Update: Minimum investment in HairClone is now £100)"

They are getting more desperate then.

It just seem's super unprofessional imho with how they've set up in comparison to our Japanese friends (and in some of they're basic communications). I'd love to be wrong, but I'll save my money thanks.

Why "super unprofessional" ?

It just seems that they have nothing in place at the moment, a few academics and advisors, there's no obvious structure to the organisation or plan to achieve what they are setting out to do.
I'd find that really difficult to want to invest in, even at £100.

These guys where a joke when they first turned up and are still a joke, riding on the wave of news from Dr Tsujis work. Their main strategy then was is exactly what they are still doing now.

That original company was founded in 2015 called Hairclone Limited and was almost struck off last year, you can see their accounts filings here: https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/09849505 and that they have £2,010 in total equity.

The second company Hairclone Research Limited (https://beta.companieshouse.gov.uk/company/10819521) was set up in 2017 with £1 in shares and still has no accounts filed after one year. It has same directors as the original company and the same address.

They are offering you equity 9% equity in a company that basically has zero research so far and owns zero IP other assets. How this company could be valued at £3,000,000 is beyond me. If they need £300,000 I'm sure they could easily find £60,000 from each of the five directors.

Feel free to invest...

Sorry my bad.
Months ago they had a minimum investment of 500.
And i think 6 month ago they were at 16.6% so they gained some money from a few people who thought throwing 100 out is fun.

I would stay the hell away from them they seem scammy.

Always check twice on the thinks you read on follicle thought.
He believes every scam.
