The HairCell therapy available to you will depend on the regulatory status in the individual country where you reside. In the USA and Canada our intent is to start with a three part therapy of (1) in clinic high fidelity bioelectric stimulation with a 510K market cleared stimulator, (2) amniotic fluid injections via DermaPen and (3) amniotic membrane application in fully bald areas of the head and out of the clinic at home we will apply the TeslaBrush electrostatic stimulation device. In other countries where permitted by regulatory authorities a more advanced therapy will be applied which includes repeat injections and applications of the HC-15 fifteen component stem cell based composition which includes exosomes, selected alkaloids, micro RNAs, nutrient hydrogel and hair scalp matrix within a hair regeneration promoting scaffolding. Also outside of the USA and Canada in selected markets we will apply a wider range of bioelectric signals to control expressions of SDF-1, HGF, EGF, IGF-1, PDGF, VEGF, HIF 1 alpha, eNOS, Activin A+B, Follistatin, Tropoelastin and perhaps also GDF-10 and GDF-11.

I made a thread about HairCell maybe a year ago. Heres an updated site, with some new info. They plan to do a 510 market approval for their device which is the same pathway i believe Follica is doing for FDA. Considering that approval pathway takes way less time than the 3 phases maybe this will come out sooner. They also plan on taking advantage of other growth factors in other countries where maybe the fda regulation is more lax. The bigger question is, is this a scam? What are your thoughts?

Now, I was wondering about this for quite some time but couldnt find any research regarding tens (transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation) and hairgrowth.

I know there was quite some stuff about tens and learning. Now the question: What keeps up from putting a tens device on our deserted temples?

Ive tried using a tens unit about a year ago.
It was difficult if you still have any hair because those pads need to adhere to you skin.
I tried ro work around this by getting one of the metal multi prong scalp massagers and attaching the tens pads to its handle. I then placed the handle portion through a hole i cut in the top of a ball cap and placed it on my head.
When i turned it on it wasnt getting current through all the prongs. I felt it in like 4 out of the 25 prongs. Not only that but if you moved a certain way one part of you scalp would get a huge zap and hurt like hell.
Anyway i tried this and it really wasnt a good setup. If anyone esle has suggestions on how to get current though the hair to the scalp id like to hear it

Well, my take is testing stuff like that only on the bald areas where you dont have anything to lose either way. Globally youll never know if it doesnt potentially hurt your terminals.

If it hurts it might actually induce some sort of damage which might be even needed for stemcell-activation.

It was weird. I would start out feeling nothing, so i turned the unit to max power. If feel a slight tingle for several minutes. But then every once and awhile just a huge ZAP. It felt like bee stings.
