So have you guys noticed how when have you hair washed at a saloon before a haircut how roughly do they treat your hair. I mean I already know I am losing my hair, so I would want to wash it pretty gently and rinse it out with a lot of care. And then they proceed onto comb your wet hair, when it's fairly common knowledge that wet hair is more prone to breakage.

Yep - they don't care

I always thought it would be great if there was a salon just for guys with hairloss

- The staff would know all about hairloss and medication used to treat it (and keep current with the latest advances)
- The lights would be not overly bright and mirrors darkened a little
- The staff could suggest the best haircut for a guy with male pattern baldness (in normal salons they often just do what they want

Mostly though NO FRICKIN BACK MIRROR at the end of the haircut !! :)

There is a guy I went to school with, he's a hair dresser now. I don't visit my parents very often but when I do, I have my hair cut with that guy. He told me I was thinning 6-7 years ago but I never paid attention to it. Anyway, he does wash my hair, and he's pretty good at it. He's very gentle :gay: and pays attention to the little details.

However, I have to agree that most hairdressers don't care that much about customer satisfaction.
