Has anyone else noticed their hair type changing as male pattern baldness progresses? When I was little (pre-puberty), I had bone-straight hair, and when puberty hit my hair became extremely wavy, much to my dismay. Now, when the hair grows back after falling out (thinner than before, of course), it is much wavier (perhaps almost curly) than even during puberty. Has anyone else noticed this or had any other changes like this? If I hadn't already seen a dermatologist, I would have assumed it was a thyroid problem, but it apparently is not.
