Hair Transplant Viability, Fut Or Fue

Hello all

I have been looking into a hair transplant for some time and nearly traveled to Thailand last year for a hair transplant with Suradej Pong in Chain Mai.

I have previously used Regaine and Propecia, but stopped them as they stopped working over time. I think my balding has stopped to some extent now, the pictures dont really show it but I do have hair on the top, but a very fine amount.

Would I be viable for a hair transplant, I ideally just want to just frame my face, and then some light coverage on the top front so that I do not need to go fully Que ball look, and can keep it at a number 1 similar to what I have now. Hoping that as my hair goes grey just having a bit of hair at the front wont look so bad

Please can you take a look and let me know if its worth pursuing a hair transplant? Any thought are really appreciated

Looking at your photos, it’s a bit tricky to discern your donor area as the base area just above your neck the hair looks thin unless it’s a fad cut. Maybe post any photos you may have of your donor area hair that shows it longer.

I’m not familiar with any hair transplant doctors in Thailand but you might be better suited to look at surgeons in Turkey, that may be able help you get some good coverage.

For me, the doctors in Turkey that I would go with are Dr Keser, Dr Demirsoy, HLC clinic, I have seen cases from those doctors that look to do good work for a person with your advanced level of hair loss.


By the why, maybe give microneedling a try with a derma roller or derma pen with minoxidil before your go the transplant route, lots of very good to great results of others doing microneedling, check this forum for the microneedling thread and look at the posts.
