I am a diffuse thinner and just in the case that I would ever result to getting a hair transplant, would they just shave my head or would they just split my hair and place the hair follicles between it? I'm asking because I have a job and would not like to be shaved bald without being able to wear a cap to hide it.

Not too sure about that, sir. I think Fred might be the best person to answer this question seeing how he's not only already had a hair transplant, but also is a diffuse thinner. I'm thinking they would buzz your hair down pretty short because they want to be able to see where they are placing the follicles. If you are getting a transplant, you'd be best doing it at the very beginning of a vacation. This way, you take a week or two off from work for the scabs on your head to heal, as well as for the hair to grow back a little bit. By the time you're ready to go back to work, your head will look much better than it would had you gone back the day after your procedure.
