hair transplant + Mhp: A Bad Combination Or Not?

Hey

Excuse me if this is already discussed on the forums, but every time I try to do some research about Micro Hair Pigmentation, all I see is slick bald people that go for a very unnatural, straight hairline and keep their head buzzed.

Is the combination of both a hair transplant and MHP not advised? Is it at all possible to grow hair out to 4-5 mm and have MHP inbetween real hairs so it doesn't look too thin/people can't see your scalp? What about using MHP on the back/sides and focusing on density in the top/front area?

Some advice would be greatly appreciated, even if it's just to tell me it's already been discussed enough (in that case I'll try doing more research)

Good question. I was wondering the same thing. Even without a hair transplant, for guys that still have a good enough hairline that doesn't look that bad, then you have a touch up in thinning/diffuse areas. Leave a bit of a thin spot here and there, perhaps around the crown. The guys that get a NW1 lego-man hairline look absurd.
I think it could work for some people.

I'm really surprised there is so little to be found about it. I had an appointment with a hair surgeon a couple months ago and he suggested this for me. He showed pictures of a dude that had a hair transplant done and then MHP to cover the back of his head and a little inbetween, and it looked absolutely amazing. His hairline was super natural and he wasn't trying to look perfect, which is the way to go imo. Thinning hair >>>>>>>>>>>>>> Fake looking hair.
