Hair Transplant Doctor Said I Wasn't Diffuse Thinning. Doesn't Seem Right To Me

Something called a hair check device was used on me and I was told that my donor area and the rest of my scalp had the same density and that I had no hair loss. But if I were already diffuse thinning, then my "safe zone" would already be thin, using that as a baseline and comparing it to my also thin scalp would make it look "normal."

Does anyone have any experience getting diagnosed with this device and knows how accurate it is? What is actually used to look for diffuse thinning because this doesn't seem right to me. My scalp is see through when wet and I'm being told I have no hair loss. Or maybe the science behind this makes sense to you guys and I have BDD. Please let me know your thoughts.

They’ll look for miniaturisation of your hair. I’m also a diffuse thinner and they part my hair down the middle and take photos. I’m pretty sure most dermatologists can do this.
