hair thinning, nizoral, finasteride and the gym

my hair seems to have gone a bit down the drain lately, literally. i think this is the case. is seems flatter, and much more diffuse from the temples back to the crown (all down the sides). i only started nizoral about 3 weeks ago...could this be a nizoral shed? how can nizoral cause shedding? if it is this type of shed, should it come back? who actually believes nizoral has dht blocking properties?

as for the finasteride, im 5 months in, so wouldve been expecting my best results by now very mood lowering.

on the better side ive been hitting the gym regularly, been on the protein shakes and eating good too, so that will hopefully give me some different type of confidence. gota get up and go and not worry about this sh*t, even though its really hard sometimes.

still, i really need some encouragement on the hair side anyone gone through sheds at this point? anyone seen a big improvement from 5 months at about 6 or 7 months or later?

Well, I've never been through a shed (but perhaps I'm just not sensitive to such a thing) but I definetly have my good days and my bad days.

But, to answer your question, my crown began to improve around month 3, while my hairline did not improve until month 10. That's a very big gap.

So there is still some hope.

were you just on finasteride and nizoral? or did you use minoxidil also?

just finasteride and nizoral. im really hoping i will see an improvement. who knows though. fingers crossed this is a shed and not steady loss. anyone seen improvement after month 5 on finasteride/finasteride and nizoral? let me know please. thanks.

i shed on proscar for 3 and a half months. it's stopped recently. been shedding still, but not as much. my crown looks to be improving. nothing on the front though
