Hair thinning in permanent zone?

I've noticed that my hair right around my ears, above, behind, and in front seems to be thin. I can see my scalp in these areas. Is this normal? Im not sure now if its always been this way or I'm losing my hair in "permanent zones" as well. The hair on the back of my head seems thick though.

Do any of you guys have this?

its perfectly normal. there is no such thing as a 'permanent' or 'safe zone'.. its different with different people. Thinning around the ears = normal.

everyone who hits NW2 looses the temples to some degree. The temples go as the top goes, and eventually go back to the ears if you don't stop it. You could be destined to go NW7 without treatment. But that does not mean you can't keep the follicles you have with treatment. You may need dutasteride to keep your transplanted hair from thinning, but you can save it, and will need it to lower your hair line. Just use my regimen and you won't lose more hair.
