I have seborrheic dermatitis since a few years ago, but I can control it with sensinol and a ketoconazole. I had a nose surgery in January last year and I had some thyroid values out of scale(regular now),. in august /July I tried a new hair cutter and I had a huge seborrheic dermatitis crise. I went to a few doctors and one prescribed me cortisone creams a and only make it worse. Finally I went to other doctor and he said that I have hyper-sensibility on skin and he prescribed me anti-histaminic pills and I worked. But since there I notice that I have much less hair or more thin hair then before( i dont notice hair falling), but I can see in the front some new hairs groing , but in general it is still week. I have no bald people in family. I have 27 and I am male.

What do you think that is happening to me?

I uploaded some pics. At the moment my scalp is a bit irritated, but that is not visible on the pictures. I am using sensinol shampoo alternated with ketoconazole shampoo.

Looks like diffuse allopecia, I had the same thing happen to me twice in my life, massive seborrheic dermatitis followed by diffuse loss of hair. In fact the diffuse loss on hairline looks nearly identical to mine. Unfortunately I don't think there is anything you can do other than minoxdil and maybe finasteride if you don't mind messing with your hormones.

I also suggest you try Neutragena T/GEL for greasy hair, it has piroctone olamine in it which I find is much better than nizoral. I use it every day and it keeps my scalp under control.

I searched on the internet and some people says that the hair will grow back.. but I don't know... I can see a few tiny and new hairs in my forehead, that's a good sign no?
Which version of t/gel do you use ? The original or extra strength or stubborn itch?

I have those too, unfortunately it is very hard to revive them. I've had some success going from NW3 to NW2 but restoring the hairline just isn't happening but then again if your loss is relatively recent you may be lucky.

I use t/gel for greasy hair, it's the one piroctone olamine in it.

My hair is not greasy , so should I use the regular one?

Do the sides and back of your scalp appear diffused like the top? If so, you are most likely experiencing a telogen effluvium based on your report of seborrheic dermatitis, thyroid issues and nose surgery.

Only the top of the scalp appear diffused. I am starting to lose hope because I consulted multiple doctors and just one was interested and said that I have skin hyper-sensibility. What's the expected time for the recovery? I notice this problem in august past but I tried a lot of products and and finnaly in November I got a calm scalp, I don notice hair falling , just when I go to hairdresser and I use his shampoo I get a lot worse, currently I take my one.

@lifeintechnicolor:
Are you sure your scalp is not greasy? Most people with seb dermatitis have an oily scalp.
Are you under a lot of stress? Follow a healthy diet? Any other skin conditions, including on your face?

O don't think that my scalp is greasy, my hair is dry . Currently this is the only thing that causes me some stress. I don't give more skin conditions, I have hyper-sensibility in general, if I pass a pen on my arm with some pressure ,minutes later I have the red mark. I don't have nothing on my face and a have a healthy diet, I don't eat fast food pk processed food. Thanks for everyone's help. I think that my last crisis was caused when I tried a new shampoo with this ingredients:
AQUA / WATER ● SODIUM LAURETH SULFATE ● POLYSORBATE 21 ● COCAMIDOPROPYL BETAINE ● DIMETHICONE ● CETYL ALCOHOL ● CI 47005 / ACID YELLOW 3 ● CI 42090 / BLUE 1 ● HYDROXYSTEARYL CETYL ETHER ● SODIUM CHLORIDE ● SODIUM
