First off, I'm from India and I'm 18 years old and I think I've started to experience thinning of hair around the temples.
My grandfather from father's side was not bald. He had slight recession but he kept his hair.
Grandfather from my mother's side however was bald.
I've begun to see fewer hair follicles on temple than there is on any other part of my head. It's almost visible under sunlight. But difficult to get on a photo. I've managed and seemed to have got it by increasing the brightness and standing near sunlight, in my phone camera.
