Hair thin on one side

Does anyone else have this? One one side, the hair is so thin on my left side that I can pretty easily make a parting from my temple all the way back to my crown. When I wake up in the morning this side always looks messier and thinner/almsot 'wiry'.

On the right side, it's much thicker - soft teh touch (not wiry texture) and I can barely make a parting even if I try.

WTF is going on and does anyone else have this??

It's actually quite hard to capture on camera...in the pics you can see some temple thinning but i suppose because its the side of my head it doesn't show so well...either that or the light can distort the image and make it look like worse in other places than it is.

Basically it's just noticeably thinner all down the one side...directly back from my temple and I can make a parting from here to the whirl of my crown where as on the other side there is too much hair to make a visible parting.

Right back the whole one side of their head? I'm not talking about having uneven temples - although actually I do slightly in this case!
