I’ve been wearing for 5 years, lace systems with poly back and sides.

My latest system is odd - every time I reattach is doesn’t seem to fit all that well.

The hairline is good and coverage is fine but it’s almost like I can’t get the whole unit down without there being a crease somewhere. Usually it means the back ends up lifting after a few days. I can glue it back down but it still feels like it wants to lift.

A good description would be like trying to fit an oval cover over a bowling ball - no matter how hard you try there will be creases or parts which do not fit and therefore lift.

Anyone else experiences this/got any advice?

You ever tried full lace yet?
I haven't yet, but tape attachment is way better than glue.
Mine is currently a hybrid system too.

There does seem to have been a general lowering of quality control standards in the industry since the pandemic hit, maybe caused by companies having to move production to new locations and train new workers. Maybe the poly band at the back of your unit has been badly attached to the lace front, causing it to buckle. If it is clear where the tension is which is causing the unit to buckle and lift, don't be afraid to cut a dart of two in it to get it to sit properly. They won't be visible under the thick hair at the back of your unit. If you want, you can put a little stitch in the lace at the end of the dart, so that it doesn't get longer. I have done this a few times to get a better fit.
