Hi,
I'm interested in ordering a hair system. I live in Poland and I've already ordered one, but I'm afraid it will look bad.
Can you recommend any clinics in Germany or in UK?

Is it necessary to go at first to the clinic and let the specialists make template?

Hi Kamill, there is no need to visit a clinic to make a template. There is sufficient information on youtube and the web for making your own template. Research and being knowledgeable will save you in the long run.

Where did you order from and why are you worried it will look bad? Is it a stock or custom piece?

It's custom piece. I ordered it in Hairlab in Warsaw.

They are making lace for me, I visited the clinic in the beginning of January and I have to wait till May.
The problem is, my temples are thinning extremely fast. My hairline and crown are thinning rapidly. Clinic's owner made a template that will not cover my temples. I am afraid that it will look very bad, because my temples are thinning and receding. I think that a template is just too small.
Next thing is that I will have to cover my hairline. It's not my natural hairstyle, because I like to have my front hair up. A good thing is that this piece can last even to 2 years. I would like to have injected hairpiece but I think that because of my sebum overproduction it will be impossible, because they told me that I have to change my hairsystem every 2 days wearing lace.

that seems a very long time to wait even for a custom piece. I think most suppliers can get a custom unit made in 6 to 8 weeks.

I guess its a question of trying when you finally get it and if you are brave posting some pics. hard to know otherwise.

If it can last 2-years, I am curious to know the thickness of lace. Most lace units will last 6 to 12 months; after this time the hair will get more dry and brittle. Not sure I would want a piece for 2-years knowing this.

You can seem expose your hairline with thin lace. You will need to see what your lace is like.

Every 2-days seems very regular. Im going 3-weeks, but the reality is it will depend on different things and you will only know once you start to wear.

It's really bad to wait 4-5 months. However Hairlab is the best known clinic in Poland, a lot of celebrities visit this place. I have to pay 1800 dollars for this hairpiece, I already paid 900 and I don't know if I should wait till May when this hairpiece is ready or I should order some hairpiece from UK, Spain or US but it's very difficult, I don't have time to go abroad to visit clinic only to make a template and then go another time after 6 or 8 weeks to put the hairpiece on a scalp.

However maybe it's a good idea, but I don't know which clinic are good in Europe. I would consider Germany, UK or Spain. I watched some videos on youtube made by HairSolution.es and it looked brilliant, I would like to go for it, but these systems last 3-5 months...do you know some clinics where you can buy systems that last 6-12 months?

What is better - lace or injected hair?
Can I wear injected system if I have sebum overproduction all over my face and scalp and I have to wash my hair everyday?

I would be very afraid of making a template alone so it's necessary to visit the clinic in person.

you will always pay more for a piece when you visit a clinic as they have overheads but there is a reasonable and unreasonable level. $1800 is unreasonable. Never confuse price and quality. All pieces come from the same region. The difference is the knowledge of the supplier.

hairlab, sounds similar to a company here in the UK and elsewhere. I wont name them, but they have celebrity endorsements (paid for of course). They charge £1500 a piece and the results are not particularly good. They are money making and ruthless.

Unless you want to travel you will have to make a template. Its really worth learning as it will save you £££

You should get 6-12 months with a lace piece and good care. I use lace and Im happy with it.

My supplier is http://www.ukhairsystems.com/

Thank you for your help.
1. Is the ukhairsystem only online supplier? They have no clinic where they can make a template?
2. Do you know good clinics in UK where I can go to make a template and the price is ok?
3. How much do you pay for your lace pieces?
4. Can you expose your hairline?

I think the best option for me is to visit some clinic in UK, they can make a template for me and order a lace piece and after 6-8 weeks I'll go back to the clinic to let them attach my hairpiece on my scalp. They can also show me how to attach it at home.

What do you think?

I pay £220 to £280 depending on what I order. I do expose my hairline. I think they are online only. Ive always made my own template and done my own attachments from reading forums and watching videos. Its quite easy.

There are clinics in the UK that will do that, but they will charge you £650 to £1500. For the sake of making your own template, you will be throwing your money away; plus their quality is questionable. Most of these places need to support office, staff and advertising you are have to pay for that.
