Hair Shedding Only After 4 Days Of Using Minoxidil

Hi there. I used Minoxidil on my beard for 4 days and I have noticed that I have started losing my scalp hair more. I mean the hair fall out is more noticeable. I have quit minoxidil ammediately and I don't want to use it anymore. Will the shedding stop? If so, after what period of time? Will the hair that fall out because of Minoxidil will come back?
