What anti-depressants do you use or know that do not affect hair negatively and are safe to use with finasteride./dutasteride. etc? Any that must be avoided? Where online do you buy them from? Thanks

Be careful with anti depressants especially the strong ones, I suffered from depression and the best way to get over depression is to occupy yourself and your mind over time. I don't think drugs will make your depression go away and also I worry about people getting hooked on drugs or feeling so bad they take more than they should, if you are getting anti depressants, go straight to a doctor and they will prescribe you the right stuff, I know online is convenient and cheaper but at the end of the day nothing comes before your health.

like I discussed in the other thread, you should only consider embarking on anti-depressants after thorough consultations with doctors/psychiatrists - they're not like buying cough drops, or choosing which brand of shampoo you're going to use.

it's not a decision to be made lightly, and certainly not without professional advice.

I think that it's because drugs which are prescription over here, QC, are advertised over in the US. Always seemed strange to advertise drugs in such a way. No wonder there are such problems with prescription drug abuse over there. But good advice once again. Anti depressants aren't in any way akin to finasteride etc, if nothing else, most SSRI's list feeling suicidal as a potential side effect.

it's capitalism gone too far when they start advertising powerful drugs like they're candy IMO. When I was last in the US there were TV ads saying 'feeling down... go ask your Doctor for Zoloft!' etc... would never be allowed in the UK.

The point of advertising is to create an artificial need/want in the consumer, which is fine if you're selling cars or clothes or ipods - but attempting to influence/control the public's mental health is pretty shameful. That's big pharma for you.

Actually, doctors give you script on any anti-dep. without any tests nor any evaluations others than that you are diagnosed with depression by asking few scripted and standard questions.

I was wondering if you guys knew from personal experience or from reading around here about a "hair safe" anti-dep, and was good for concentration, fatigue feelings; and an energy and motivation booster in a gym etc.

I cant seem to find much info on here. Is Wellbutrin "safe?" Thanks again for all the input
