I have question about these hair replacement systems. What is difference between these and wig? And why do you have to pay for hair replacement system monthly? If i figured out right, its just a wig, but each month it gets glued up with something (but it uses the same "hair" right?) I think $300+ is too much so i am looking for alternitaves

Yes but no; it's like comparing a cigarette to a fine cigar.

A wig is a wig — doll hairs on a rubbery base. Density is very high to hide the base and the hairs are unrealistic due to it being synthetic. Bond is usually by unreliable suction or clip-on hence the ironic role they play in movies.

Hair systems take out all the factors that make a wig identifiable. Hairs are human matched to your own and hand-knotted to a lace base which blend into your scalp. Density can be very light (almost balding if you really want) to make it realistic and yes it is bonded with strong adhesives/tapes that allow you to sleep, shower, swim or skydive with it on and even going to the sauna isn't a problem. If I got my hair system hair caught in a circular saw it would most likely scalp me before it pulled the hair system off.

Re-bonding depends on your body chemistry and that isn't a BS statement. There are some that can make it go a month and some no more than 3 days. I have mine done every 2 weeks at the specialist salon.

I wouldn't price per unit but rather per month. Better units are more delicate but last much shorter (i.e. very fine swiss might go for a month whereas thick bases with poly may go 6 months). I personally spend approx $350/mo on my hair but I have a club do the maintenance. There is a reason why most men decide to shave up rather than do something about it and that is because of $$$$$. Any form of hair replacement is expensive, and do remember that the quality in the hair system industry changes drastically even when buying from the same supplier.
