Hair Regrowth By Finasteride + Minoxidil?

I'm 18 years old, I've been experiencing hair loss for 2 years, and I finally started taking finasteride + minoxidil.
Right now, right part of my hair is around NW2 (Maybe a little further than NW2), when left of my hair is NW1. Also, front part of my hair thinned a little.

I've seen some people telling that those drugs didn't work for them and only made their hairline worse. Can this be the case for me because I started balding at an early age?

Also, if I experience a regrowth, can my hair grow back to something close to NW0?

I would say I'm insecure about my hairline, but I do not think I have BDD. I just don't want to end up fully bald by my mid 20s
