I have sort of an odd question. I know the typical story after quitting propecia is that one quickly loses a lot of the hair they had been maintaining while on the drug.
Has anyone out there experienced hair regrowth, or an increase in hair density after discontinuing propecia?
I ask because I'm getting off the drug due to a myriad of side effects it has caused me over the last year and a half but I am wondering if this has ever happened to anyone. My doctor told me that when the body is in distress it shuts down the non-essential systems first, including hair. Since Propecia was putting my body in distress I am curious. I know this is probably wishful thinking but I was wondering anyhow if this had ever happened to anyone here.
