In this free full text they describe novel findings regarding androgen effects on early satellite cell migration to repair muscle injury. It got me thinking about timing of androgen levels and timing of regeneration phase of the follicle. They also explore how to regenerate muscle via the AR but without using androgen as to limit cardio and prostate effects. Also explore effect on genes and androgen.
Nothing about hair in this research, I'm just extrapolating. It would be interesting to apply this model to hair. We know if we remove androgen our pattern hair loss stops. What does the removal of androgen deplete?
