HAIR OPINIONS AND ADVICE NEEDED, LOTS OF PICS! 19

Hey im 19. been worried about losing hair since I was 14.

from the ages of 14-16, used to shed alot ( ALOT) hundreds of hundres of hairs in my bed, bathroom everywhere. it was terrifying im almost 95percent sure it was stress related (not about hairloss though). but that stopped after 16.

My brother said he was thinning since 14, he was Norwood 5 by 20/21.

Just want your guys take on my hairline/crown/vertex. Mums side has balding gene usually later by age 30+ my grandad was about 36 when he started.
one uncle went bald by 22 like my brother. his son has a full head of hair.

Dads side lots of cousins, not much hairloss. Grandad started losing at 50+ my dad had thinning from 40+, due to stress 10 year divorce battle blah blah lol.

Dads side hair is all thick and black, I inherited my eyebrows , leg hair and etc from there. hopefully hair too.

anyways here are some pics. I have BDD or OCD probably.
I check my hairline everyday, in the last month alone ive taken 500pics+ no joke.

used to be obsessed about my nose in highschool, now its hair hehe.

Also, the hairline on my right side of the head seems to be slightly higher than my left, very slightly.

Also the right side of my head feels less dense then the left.
only by a bit though, but its noticeable to me.

For example, on my right side with direct light and flash, i can see some scalp.
whereas on my left there could be direct light a flash sunlight 1000 candles, and i wont see scalp.

its felt less dense for a long time, maybe even since 15 onwards, the hair doesnt look minituarized, just less dense?

is that an unheard of thing?

my hair characteristics are, straight and spikey.
it naturally sticks up, 100,000 hair boners.

Pics below are wet hair, etc.

Also could a widows peak make it look more receded than it is?

i have a pretty strong one in the front.

like from the top my hairline is like a U with a large triangle in the front.

looks pretty straight from the front, but the sides it curves downwards, not upwards??

is that due to widows peak, recession

im obviously not capable of judging my own hair, probably too ocd or neurotic. so if you guys could analyze and tell me
id be really really grateful

Hey guys thanks a lot for the replies.

just some questions if you dont mind.


How come my right side of the head feels less dense than the left, even though the hairs dont seem thin. it definately feels slightly lighter.

. When I pull my hair back it seems straight from the front more or less, and the sides.
yet when i let go, and take a pic it looks like a downward curve like the photo below. could it be the widows peak?

. where would you put me on the norwood scale?

also are left and right side of hair usually the same in terms of hairline, thickness, shape, height etc.

awesome head of hair, man. looks like the dreaded 'mature hairline' to me. i'd say you're a stable NW1 with no thinning.
nothing we can say will stop you worrying though. take a photo or two every month or two and do a 'before / after' type thing in 6 months time. if you've receded at all then jump on finasteride and you'll be great.
