Hair Not Cleaned Properly During Detachment. What Next?

So during my last attachment I ended up with some seepage (lace base) from the glue. It doesn't appear the salon cleaned this through properly and now I have two issues:

  1. As I try to brush through the hair it isn't going through cleanly. It's catching.
  2. On the front hairline, on a relatively small patch it is quite tangled or something. Not sure what it is exactly but it's not great..

Now I have no idea what to do here. I've tried to do some small things to help it out but I can't work out the issue.

I can deal with it for now.. but I am concerned about longer term damage to the system and I don't have a spare.

Suggestions? Ideally without removing it.. Because that may just make things worse for me.

There really isn't anything you can do without removing the system. Anything that you would do requires removing the system, cleaning it, and your own scalp/hair.

If you do NOTHING you won't damage the system. Until you can get back to the salon, you should try and mess with the hair, as little as possible.

When you do get to the salon, and it's discovered that they did not properly clean the system, you need to have a stern discussion with the owner/manager.

This is also a good opportunity to learn how to care for your hair system yourself. No one is going to care about this more than YOU!

I will be honest with you: My concern is that they will rush it and cause more issues.

I wonder if what I need more than anything is to do it myself. Spend a good amount of time slowly fixing it. I am not even entirely sure HOW it's messed up. I don't think it's tangled.. It just seems stuck somehow (but not sticky?!)

Sometimes the hair gets matted, often this can happen if glue seeps through the lace. That could explain your "stuck not sticky" situation.

If you want to PM me with pics, I am available to respond all day (8:12 AM) here. I would be try and help you b
