Hair Loss That Slows Down Or Stops?

So I have read a few accounts of people who shed pretty rapidly from a Norwood 0 to Norwood 2 and then it just sort of 'locked in' or slowed right down for a number of years before picking up speed again. Have any of you fine gentlemen experienced or witnessed this?

I was a bad responder to Minoxidil (heart palpitations, dark circles) and Finasteride (my erections were becoming very weak) so I stopped using them. My receding hairline seems to have stopped or slowed right down for now but I'm still getting pretty savage diffuse thinning on the top now. Is it possible this too may stop or slow down on it's own?

A few months ago it was unbareablt itchy and sure enough, not long after my temples just took flight on me. Started finasteride for around a month and the itching went away, now I'm off finasteride it's back but not too bad. Do you think in some cases the severity of the itch can indicate the severity hair loss?

Hello mods! If you see this message could you please delete this thread but leave the other one I made intact?

I didn't mean to double post and I cannot for the life of me work out how to delete it?

Anyone else if you see this and wish to post please post in the other basically identical thread on the forum to avoid confusion. Thanks :)

I thought this was common knowledge, inflammation is a part of hairloss. That itching you feel is literally ur hormones eating up ur follicles. Horrible feeling I know.

Yeah I figured there was a connection, I had a brutal shed and I remember having such an itchy scalp right before.

Now I have the odd itch here or there even though I'm off treatments. I am scared of the next shed though haha.

I've been off finasteride for 2 weeks now and all sides have gone. Considering starting up again but tiny dose (0.25mg 2x a week)..
