We are just trying to help him... If he starts early he will be ALOT happier in the future that he did. Also you use nutrafol lmao so you obviously are not extremely educated on what actually works

I do not use nutrafol - I don’t put a lot of effort into keeping my Regimen on here up to date bud. However the nutrafol wasn’t a terrible stab for me personally, I was experiencing shedding that started overnight along with exhaustion and some other issues that to me may have meant I had a deficiency somewhere.
But no you know. Tell the kid with a full head of hair to go on finasteride... if he should start fun then every make on the planet might as well again his hair/hairline is in great shape.

I’m not sure what to do exactly. But would it be smart to monitor it and wait till I find out if I’m balding rather then speculating, considering that finasteride may come with shedding, side effects, and costs money

Just an extra question, if anyone comes across this: If I have some slight miniaturization on my right temple (the side with flatter hairline) could this just be maturing to even up with the other side because the miniaturization is not extreme

Alth hairline is intact but hairs are thinned on the top front. I am sure it is androgenic alopecia.

Maturing is very neat process ,it doesn't work the way you think it is.accept the fact that some part of hairs are shoeing signs of balding and get on medication by experts advice.best luck.

Could it possibly just be maturing considering there’s barely any miniaturization and the rest of my crown is fine? Are you absolutely positive to the point where I need treatment ASAP

Every time I come on here it always 50/50 to what people will say. There’s always some saying I’m totally fine, some saying I need treatment, and some who say too early to tell. I don’t know what to do at this point

I am nw2.5 without miniaturised hairs.some people go bald without miniaturisation, I am example.I am sure you need treatment not ASAP but sooner you treat it you could pull on until some solid comes out.

What about for some cases like that I’ve heard off, where people have miniaturization but only to maturing and then it stops. The reason I bring this up is because I have only have miniaturization on one side of my head and it doesn’t go past the mature hairline territory. This side is also the side that is the strongest hairline where as the other side without miniaturization already appears to be at the mature hairline spot or even short of it. Do you have thoughts on this?

If it is inconclusive and confusing then you can wait for few years and keep a close watch.

There is always a chance. When it's controversial just monitor it. If you really start shedding or noticing more recession come back again. If people are this conflicted on this forum it's too early to say you definitely need treatment. And no we can't tell you if it will be worse or just maturing. How could we? Just monitor it and that's it. You can ask as much as you want but you will not get a definitive answer right now which satisfies you.

As you can see, there’s a patch of miniaturization that if I shaved off would look like a mature hairline. As I explained above, I only have this on one side of my hairline and it’s the side that’s not as mature as the other. I’m conflicted because you can still see a definitive hairline above the miniaturization. Is it too much miniaturization and is balding or is it a textbook maturing hairline? Any response is helpful!

Look @ your temples they are thinning out. You are showing some signs of baldness but your hair looks thick to me.
