First off, this site has been a sausage fest since 1999. Im a little surprised you're just now realizing that. Its actually made up of about 70% men and 30% women, but most of the women do not register or speak up. Primarily because you horny turds would harass them if they did.
Pre and Post-menopausal Women don't feel comfortable interacting about this topic with a bunch of 22 year old guys standing around.
Myspace is for getting Laid
Secondly, this social networking tool isnt to help you get laid. So saying it blows because there are only dudes, doesn't make much sense. Discussion forums are old school, circa 1998. Social networking systems on topics from health to fitness to special interests are on the rise. Sites with forums are bursting at the seams with people trying to upload photos and interact. This tool gives each of you a proper place to call "home". You get your own profile, with your own URL. Your own place to upload all your pics. Track your progress. Interact and leave comments. Get advice. Share your regimen. And even compare your before and after photos side by side with a zoom and pan tool. If you're feeling a little gay right now, it might be some latent tendencies bubbling to the surface.

Lastly, this tool is actually tied in to the women's network and the alopecia network. There are areas for them in the social networking tool itself. Its just empty right now because they are shy to speak up. We've got a lot of work to do, to build a presence for the women, but even then I will probably box it off into another area of the site. Im not too sure a criss-cross interaction is the best idea. The whole world of Alopecia sufferers comprised of both men and women is the third major target audience we have here. Young men dominate this site right now, and thats why you only see profiles for them. That will change over time as we begin to branch out.
