Not a day goes by without thinking about hair loss. I even find myself regularly taking pictures and 360° videos just to keep up with the state of my hair. I know that hair does not go that quickly, but I feel like it does. I feel like I need to be on top of it as much as possible.
Does anyone else get really self conscious when they bend their head down? I hate revealing that top-down view — it's the worst bit. The side view isn't too bad, but when light beams down on your balding dome, it's there for all to see.
Stairwells are a problem. If I'm at the bottom of a narrow one and there is someone at the top, sometimes they will let me walk up first. I hate that. It means for a few seconds they get to stare from a 40° angle of my scalp.
Walking outside buildings when there are visible people on higher floors is another. You see them through the windows walking in a corridor and again, you know they get that hideous top-down view of your head.
Restaurants when they have spot lights hovering above the tables. I will always pick the darkest spot on a table so it lights up my scalp the least.
I'm sure to a non-hair loss suffering individual, they would completely mock and ridicule what I've just said, but only people like us really understand the depth of these things.
Any experiences you have like these?
