hair loss postpartum

Hi, after having my 3rd baby in feb. (and having a postpartum hemmorhage and surgury) I started to lose my hair beginning of April.
It is not letting up!
How long does this usually last? My Dr. is not much help, just says is is hormonal, and is not sure how long it lasts.
I have (used to have) long, thick hair, got many compliments on it.
The thinning is becoming noticable, esp. the top of my scalp.
Help please!!! :cry:

I read that hair loss can last up to 6 months,but new hair will grow
back.Hang in there girl!
