Hair Loss Paranoia, Need Opinions From You

Greetings to all.

21 years old here, earlier this year I suffered from seborrheic dermatitis in the temples mainly and after it has gone away (for now) I started having paranoias. I've always been rocking long hair throughout my life and never really cared about hairlines or volume (I've always been told that I have thick hair in great abundance). Here I am asking for your opinions about temples and scalp. I am posting a couple of ones from when I was 14 and 16 to compare; I notice some kind of recession, but I thought it was natural, I had that sort of female hair line years ago and people used to think I was a girl. Also, during spring until mid summer, I tend to lose a lot of hair, so many that it is always worrying, but that happens yearly. The back of my scalp feels thin if I go two days without washing my hairs, but that is something I think I always had. Should I get myself checked? I can't tell precisely whether it is paranoia, denial or what else. Cheers.

The recession (hair loss) that you had could be due to you having seborrheic dermatitis. It's possible for it to grow back if it really did go away but it would take time to really know if and how much you will grow back. Your overall density is really good and you hair looks healthy. I would say go with your gut and see a dermatologist to have a closer look and have blood work done. I didn't make any comments about your hairline and the "parting" because I highly recommend having your whole scalp looked at by a specialist.
