hair loss...on sides of head???

Its not real bad or anything, but I'm noticing that the sides of my head, above my ears, have lower density than anywhere else on my head......


its geatest at the back, and the top is good.

But wtf? I thought the side-heads were supposed to last forever.. And why is the hair on my right side always thinner than the left???

Wishful thinking, but not quite true. The back and sides are probably less affected by androgens, but they can thin eventually. Ever see the old men with nothing but a thin wreath of hair? I'm sure you have. My back and sides have thickened since starting finasteride, which leads me to believe they had thinned out at least somewhat. My dad had nothing but a see-through fringe left.
