Hi! I've been researching hair loss for quite a while. I think I don't have male pattern baldness yet, but I am very curious what do you guys think. I have very low hairline. If I ever suffer from it, I will try to solve this cosmetic flaw with medication. Very impressed by some of the results, yet very annoyed that hair loss treatments have so many side effects.

I want to know from you, do I have some evidence of hair loss. I know that biggest problem of hair loss is denial that you actually have some, so unprejudiced opinion will really help me and others.

Photo #1. Hairline. My widow's peak is shaven (I haven't shaved it for some time, so it grew out). If not touched, it grows as normal hair does.

Photo #2 Side view. My sideburns are very close to eyebrows (I shave small hairs that grow in between eyebrows and sideburns).

Photo #3. You can see the size of my forehead. Metric system. From the lowest point of my not grown out widow's peak to eyebrows.

Photo #5. Back of my head. I shave my neck hair.

Photo #6. Crown. I can see some scalp. Not sure if it's normal. Unfortunately I don't have pictures from before, so I can't say if it is like this forever.

Additional info / Genetics:

Men in my family:

Father - Bald (Norwood 5v). Started balding when he was 20 after army. Remained some hair to 30s, then diffuse thinned to Norwood 5v. Has the same hair for quite some time and doesn't bald further. Had wavy light brown hair in the teens.
Father's Brother - Not Bald. (Norwood 1) Has curly thick black hair. Not bald at all. Maybe has a little bit of diffuse thinning, but it's not very noticeable. Very small forehead and low hairline.
Grandfather (Mother's Side) - Bald (Norwood 5A-6) Started balding when he was 20 after army. Had a combover, so I am not sure what norwood he had. Had light brown hair straigth hair. He was an power lifter (maybe that accelerated hair loss).
Grandfather (Father's Side) - Bald (Norwood 6) Unlike my mother's father my father's father kept his hair for a long period of time. I am not sure when exactly he started going bald, but in the 30's he had his hair. He had dark thick wavy hair.

A little bit of optimism. Women in my family:

Mother - Has a lot of hair, but it is thin. Has 1.5 Norwood hairline.
Grandmother (Father's Side) - Grey (black before) thick hair.
Grandmother (Mother's Side) - Thick white hair (white hair, went completely white when she was 20).Low hairline.

I think it would be interesting and useful for you to make a template of your current frontal hair pattern. That way you would have a tool that would offer some objective monitoring. Whip out your template every 3 years and compare. How you would accurately construct such a device, I'll leave to the designers and engineers here on the forum.

Dude i can clearly say you might have a little mental problem of self-assurance but no hair loss at all.

Let the problems with balding rely to the big balding crew and enjoy you life
