Hair loss in young men and poor libido

I can't be specific but i read somewhere recently on these forums that hair loss in young men and loss of libido go hand in hand. This would not surprise me as I started having sexual problems in my late teens about the same time my hair began thinning. I didnt respond to either the hairloss, or the poor (at best!) libido untill age 22. Just a few months back I made an appointment with my doctor where I explained my erectile dysfunction  , and he just told me that its a "mental issue" and sent me home with some Cialis pills. His answer was very dissatisfying and I want to get to the root of this problem, not just pop a pill before i have sex!! I did however use a few of the pills with temporary success (they workd for over 48 hrs). I've been on propecia for 7/8 months with little to no change in hair or libido. I have always thought maybe the ED has to do with bad circulation?(my hands are usually cold if that means anything) I really want so get to the bottom of this -any advice experience is appreciated!

My hands and feet are almost always cold... or at least they used to be.

I started on Propecia at about 19.5 years.. I'm now 20, almost 21.

I have impotence on Propecia and lack of libido...

I'm on dutasteride and have yet to suffer from impotence. I have bouts of lack of libido, but I'm sampling something called Enzyte. Although many say it's a scam, it seems to be working on my libido... It's 12:30 right now, and I just had a hardcore f*****g session. Everything is working down there juts fine.

Propecia fucked me over pretty bad. In theory, dutasteride shouldn't be helping me with my libido, but it hasn't affected it at all. (knock on wood).

I hope my experience helps in the slightest...

By the way, I'm piss drunk!!!

Haha, later muther fuckers!

L-Lysine - 500/mh 2x Daily

Were you taking these while on propecia? Do the help?

Was NOT taking these on Propecia. Didn't even research hair loss when I got on Propecia.

I've since stopped using L-Arginine, although it does work... (It can grow hair on your hands... it's strong sh*t)

For those with a low libido I suggest trying a zinc sulfate supplement. Works for me :)

yeah, it can be down to poor circulation, which is why smoking can cause ed I think.

my libido's always been very high though and I started losing my hair when I was 13/14.
