About 2 years ago i took some steroids as i was working as a doorman and was playing lots of sport and regularly weight training 4 times a week.

I took some strong anabolic steroids (tremboline) with some sustoten and deca. Did two courses (each about 8 weeks) then never took them again.

About a year after i had taken the steroids i noticed that the top part of my head has hair that is really thin and whispy. It has been in this state since.

I saw a private doctor a while back and he said that the steroids would have quickned up the process of hairloss but wasn't the only factor. Is this true?

I have been using regain for about a two years and have recently started taking avodart and my hair has somewhat improved. Continueing using both products.

My hair loss is thin all over the top of my head with a slight bald patch at the back of my head. Is this a normal pattern? I have lost a bit of my hairline at the front of my head but my hair seems to be getting thiner as aposed to falling out. Is this normal pattern?

male pattern baldness

Yes your doctor is correct. Sounds like a textbook case of Male Pattern Baldness. At least you are treating it. You should be on the big three.

1. Finasteride or Dutasteride
2. Minoxidil
3. Nizoral Shampoo

All these products plus more are explained to death on this website so just read through all the existing posts and you will learn alot.

Good luck.
