Hi guys, I am a 33 year old male

For 2 years I'm suffering from thinning hair and receding hair. It effects my temples the most and also crown.

For 2 years, I've tried 2 different places in London. One by the name of The International Hair Studio and one called The Belgravia Centre.

The first one had me on - Laser Hair Therapy 2x a week + daily minoxidil. (The results I saw were very slow and the customer experience was feeling like once they had the money they didn't care, so after 8 months I left)

Belgravia Centre - I have Minoxidil solution 5% in the morning and then they make me use Minoxidil cream 12.5% + AZELAIC ACID 5% at night a cream you target specifically the areas of concern.

There has been over 2 years some improvement but it's very very slow and little. I've been promised and shown much better examples then what has happened to me.

I also in the last 6 months had 2 treatments of PRP to see if that helped. Not really.

-

I plan to get married next year and this is really effecting, I have already spent so much money, almost 4K GBP over 2 years wth these 2 company's to try to solve this but it hasn't worked

Now I feel also my front hairline is starting to get effected -

Can someone advise me, I hate this, I can't wear my hair up anymore so I comb it to the side and a little bit down and always feel so scruffy as I don't want to expose the temples. Confidence for 2 years has never been the same how I was before

I should add also over this period of minoxidil in my hear - I can feel the texture of my hair, the ends are so bad now. Like stringy and not smooth.

Your hairs like mine. Sucks. Lifeless and hard to style.

Im going to ask the obvious here.. you obviously have the money so why dont/didnt you get a hair transplant. 4k could have got you one?

P.s if you havnt realised those places charge you thousands for something most ppl here do from home for alot less money. Its a scam.

Everyone I met said at that time transplant wasn't needed, it was early stages and that non surgical methods would solve this.

Also in London, that's normal price if you spread over a period of 2 years that they are charging here and they are all charging around the same amounts

You dont need to pay for a service though. Just order minoxidil and finasteride yourself.

P.s laser doesnt work

Finasteride... could thicken your hair up right in time for your big day brother

I tried Finastride for literally a week around 1 year ago but I didn't get a good feeling from it so pulled out of it before anything happened - and some of the stories on this forum scare me to use it.

Did you use it? Has it helped you?

finasteride will be enough for you imho

you still have full head of hair

Your from India, I heard they have oils or treatments there that really work wonders for the temple areas - is that true? Some friend told me they use it and it worked but it's not available outside unless you have someone visiting

What's the white buildup in ur hair?

that is just recently its happening more and more - in last month. its the minoxidil when it dries up, ut then becomes flaky and i always feel like itching. even if i comb my hair or run hands to style it, it starts looking like i have dandruff.

I must be mad because I think you're hair is amazing and i'm very jealous! lol
Thick as hell and a ton of hair. And you're 33! There's some mild recession in the corners.
Jesus. I must be a cue ball in comparison, lol
Makes me want a hair transplant even more if you think YOUR hair is bad, lol
