Hello. I have noticed excessive hair shedding since January 2019. I have been diagnosed with early mild male pattern baldness accentuated by Telogen Effluvium.

My Telogen Effluvium was triggered on 2 occasions in November 2018 and May 2019 and before the first one, I didn't have any signs of male pattern baldness. The one since May last year is still active due to the presence of factor that triggered it (though its subsiding) and it has caused my hairline to recede as well as hair loss at temporal region. Due to Telogen Effluvium, I have experienced overall shedding but primarily in the mid of frontal scalp.

When Telogen Effluvium has stopped, would the hair loss due to male pattern baldness, possibly kickstarted by Telogen Effluvium be reversible?

Thanks!

Hair loss caused / continued by male pattern baldness would never reverse itself without interventions. Get on treatments before it gets worse.
