Hair loss coupled with hair gain

Ok...here is my situation. Been losing hair for the past 6 years...I'm 26 now. So I have diffuse thining on top and Norwood 3 temples. I keep the hair longer on top, so it somewhat hides the hairloss to a small degree. I have hair now that I comb forward...it does not look stylish or neat or professional...but at least I have some coverage on top, so that will do for now.

But I am starting to grow hair elsewhere! I am really concerned about this becuase, I do not want to have a shiny, bald head in a few years contrasted with thick facial hair and lots of body hair (chest, shoulders, back, neck). I work out 5 days a week, so I would like to maintian a hairless body for definition purposes.

I am thinking about going in for laser hair removal. I would like to completely remove hair from shoulders, neck and forehead region, while reducing hair (permanent 5-oclock effect) from facial (cheeks) areas. I was wonder if any of you guys have had this procedure or know the results from friends/etc. who have had this procedure? Any scarrring due to the sensitivity of the facial skin? The clinic informed me that it would take 4-5 sessions to complete remove hair due to the follicle growth period, and they gave me price estimates for each region, which all sound reasonable.

Any info would be great.

Dont get it removed, you may need it for one of those body to head hair transplants.

Just nair and shave it.

ok, I'm talking about excessive facial hair. I saw an ad on tv once, where a nurse was using a laser hair removal unit on a guys face. I was wondering if laser hair removal works for areas like this, where the hair is so thick. I have fine hairs coming in on my forehead, above eyebrows which I would like permanently removed, and it would be really nice if I could reduce the amount of facial hair I have...it would making morning shaving a hell of a lot easier.

I wish i had more facial hair. I get acne in places, and where i get it i cant grow my beard so its patchy as hell. My bro gets less acne but has to shave heaps more. I'd take his situation any day (even though im pretty much acne free, patchy hair sucks)
