Hey guys,
I would like your opinion on if I am experiencing balding or is it just hair damage from my perm based on my pics
Background: grandpa (75Y) stage 6, dad(52Y) at stage 4 both diabetic and 3 of us all have dry/frizz hair
I (19Y) had two perms this year, the first perm(Jan) I didn’t notice much hair loss. After the second perm(July), I started to notice more hair loss (especially on the crown/front) and split ends. Since I have long hair now, I notice that when I comb my hair or shampoo my hair, strings of hair (4-6) will fall out; again I’m not sure if it’s because of my perm which causes hair to stick together and fall out easier or just me balding. For my hair line, I am not sure if it’s maturing or receding. If I am balding, which stage am I at ? And what should be my next steps ?
This has been really been bothering me for the last couple of weeks and couldn’t be productive bc of it. Would greatly appreciate your answers/opinions.
